There is widespread discussion that PM Modi has certain compulsions of his own, which is why he will not speak word against Donald Trump: Manish Sisodia
NEW DELHI, June 2026 : Pointing to the killing of three Indians in American attacks on commercial vessels, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal held US President Trump directly responsible for the deaths and called out Prime Minister Modi for maintaining silence despite the loss of Indian lives.
Referring to the Prime Minister’s engagement with Trump after the attacks, the AAP Supremo questioned the government’s response and asserted that while India’s leadership may be silent, 140 crore Indians will not remain silent. He also said that India would soon have a strong Prime Minister who would respond to every insult inflicted on the country and every killing of Indian citizens.
AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal stated in a video postr on ‘X’ addressed to Donald Trump, “You will be held accountable for the deaths of the Indians who lost their lives. You are a coward and a ruthless killer. It is extremely unfortunate that PM Modi is silent on this issue. But India will soon have a strong Prime Minister. That Prime Minister will certainly punish you for your misdeeds.”
The AAP Chief said, “Today, the blood of the entire nation is boiling. People are extremely angry. Donald Trump attacked three ships. During these attacks on 8 June, 10 June and 11 June, there were 68 Indians on board, and three Indian citizens were killed. Yet our Prime Minister did not utter a single word. The attack took place on 8 June and the Prime Minister remained silent. Attacks took place again on 10 June and 11 June, and even then PM Modi remained silent.”
Highlighting the exchange between the two leaders, Arvind Kejriwal added, “On 10 June, Trump posted on X congratulating PM Modi on becoming the longest-serving Prime Minister. In response, the Prime Minister thanked Trump and wrote that he was looking forward to working with him. What does that mean? Why is the Prime Minister eager to work with a person who has taken the lives of three Indians?”
Questioning the government’s response, he continued, “The limit was crossed when our External Affairs Minister called US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and, instead of expressing regret over the deaths of three Indians, America threatened India once again. The United States expressed no sorrow or remorse over the deaths of our citizens. It warned our External Affairs Minister that if India did not comply with America’s orders, it would face serious consequences. What is this? Why is PM Modi so helpless before Trump?”
“He has allowed the entire nation to be humiliated before Trump. If even one citizen of Russia, China, Iran or any other country had been killed, would that country have let America or Trump go just like that? Would that country have remained silent? Why is the Prime Minister of our country silent today? What is his compulsion,” he pointedly asked.
Addressing Donald Trump directly, the AAP Chief stated, “I want to tell Trump that you are a killer. You want a peace prize and think of yourself as a god, but in reality, you are a murderer. Trump should not assume that if the Prime Minister of our country is weak today, then 140 crore Indians are weak as well. The people of India are not weak. If the Prime Minister remains silent, we will not remain silent. We have a 5,000-year-old civilisation. Very soon, our country will have a strong Prime Minister, and the insult that Trump has inflicted upon India and the deaths of Indian citizens will certainly be avenged from America and Trump.”
Meanwhile, senior AAP leader and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, “Whenever the Prime Minister travels abroad, Indians living there are invited to airports to applaud him. Through photographs of himself dancing and interacting with children, PM Modi tries to show how much Indians love him. But the bigger question is whether he loves these Indians living abroad. Three Indian citizens were killed at the hands of America, yet PM Modi did not say a single word. These are the same people who applaud for him when he arrives at airports during foreign visits.”
Speaking about the concerns of Indian workers and sailors, he emphasised, “Today, lakhs of Indians are stranded on ships at sea and fear that they could lose their lives in an American attack. Their families are terrified, and crores of Indians are worried about them. Yet PM Modi has not spoken a single word. He has not even posted a tweet saying that he has clearly told his friend Donald Trump, who recently congratulated him, that attacks on Indians will not be tolerated. Instead, American ministers threaten India, warning of consequences if such actions continue, and our Prime Minister remains silent.”
Questioning PM Modi’s silence, Manish Sisodia said, “People are now discussing whether Donald Trump is holding some major leverage over PM Modi. That is why, no matter what Trump does, PM Modi will never speak a word against him. If that is not true, then show the country what a 56-inch chest really means.”
