Government stands with the needy and will ensure resolution of every genuine grievance: Chief Minister

Gorakhpur, June 2026 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a ‘Janata Darshan’ on Sunday outside the Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan located in the Gorakhnath Temple premises. Around 200 people from different districts of the state arrived with their grievances. The Chief Minister listened to each person individually and directed officials to ensure appropriate resolution of their issues.

The Chief Minister assured the people that the government stands with every needy person and will ensure resolution of all genuine grievances. Referring the applications to administrative and police officials, CM Yogi directed that all issues should be resolved fairly and within the stipulated time frame.

During the Janata Darshan, the Chief Minister took a firm stand on complaints related to police and revenue matters. He directed the District Magistrate that any negligence at any level in resolving revenue-related complaints should invite strict action. He said laxity or negligence at any level will not be tolerated and directed officials to ensure that victims receive justice within the prescribed time limit.

People who approached the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance for medical treatment were told to focus on the health of their family members. The Chief Minister said they should leave the concern of treatment expenses to the government, which would provide assistance. Ayushman Cards will be made available to eligible needy people, and financial help will also be provided through the discretionary fund. CM Yogi directed officials to ensure that every eligible and needy person receives an Ayushman Card.

During his stay at the Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath followed his traditional routine on Sunday morning as well. After seeking the blessings of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath and his late Guru, Mahant Avaidyanath Ji, he performed Gauseva (cow service) at the temple cowshed. He fed jaggery and rotis to the cows with his own hands and expressed his affection towards them.

Later, while visiting the temple premises, he called children who had come with their families, interacted with them about their studies and distributed chocolates. During the Janata Darshan as well, the Chief Minister gave chocolates to children and blessed them to study sincerely and move forward in life.
