MHADA Nagpur Board Projects Should Be Expedited: Minister of State for Housing Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar

Mumbai, June 2026 : Minister of State for Housing Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar has directed officials to expedite the implementation of various development projects and clear pending works being undertaken by the MHADA Nagpur Board.

The instructions were issued during a review meeting chaired by Dr. Bhoyar at the Mantralaya, where the progress of several ongoing and proposed projects under the Nagpur Board was discussed in detail.

The meeting was attended by Anil Wankhede, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the MHADA Authority, along with senior officials from the concerned departments.

During the review, officials examined the status of vacant positions within the Nagpur Board and discussed several key projects, including:

  • The Expression of Interest (EOI) process for a public garden project in Chandrapur.
  • The proposed Amnesty Scheme for interest payments under the Hire Purchase Scheme.
  • Development of cement concrete roads in New Chandrapur.
  • Construction of old-age home projects in Chandrapur and Wardha.
  • Other ongoing infrastructure and housing-related initiatives under the board’s jurisdiction.

Dr. Bhoyar reviewed the current status of each project and instructed officials to complete all necessary administrative procedures without delay. He emphasized that these projects are important from the citizens’ perspective and should be completed within the stipulated timelines.

The Minister stressed the need for close coordination among all concerned departments to ensure timely execution and effective implementation of the projects. He also directed officials to resolve pending issues at the earliest and accelerate development activities across the region.

Further, Dr. Bhoyar instructed department heads to immediately address any obstacles affecting project implementation and ensure that developmental works proceed smoothly and efficiently.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to improving public infrastructure and housing facilities through timely completion of key projects under the MHADA Nagpur Board, while ensuring that administrative bottlenecks do not hinder progress.
