Madhya Pradesh on Development Path Where Policy, Capital and Human Resources Work in Unison: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the core responsibility of the State Government is to ensure public welfare while formulating development policies whose benefits reach the last person in society. He said that the government would leave no stone unturned for industrial development and employment generation. Industries that create maximum employment opportunities for youth are being given special encouragement in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the cooperation of the government and industrial organisations, Madhya Pradesh is progressing on a development path where policy, capital, and human resources are aligned and working in the same direction. He stated that the state currently ranks third in the country in attracting investment and that industrial innovations undertaken here are emerging as models for other states. Madhya Pradesh will become a leading state in industrial growth and job creation in the coming years with collective efforts.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed a dialogue event organised by a private media group on Friday evening at a private hotel in Bhopal. He said that the State Government has declared 2026 as the ‘Krishak Kalyan Varsh’, during which special emphasis will be laid on the development of agriculture-based industries. Efforts will be made to link farmers with modern food processing to enhance product quality and market value. On the occasion, office-bearers of the media group accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Minister and honoured him by presenting a copy of the ‘Times of India’ dated 25 March 1965, the Chief Minister’s date of birth.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that, alongside agriculture, industrial development is also a top priority of the government. While the establishment of new industries strengthens the state’s economy, employment generation improves the financial condition of households. He said this is the government’s objective and that it is working with full commitment to achieve it. To simplify the establishment of industries, 18 new industrial policies have been implemented and ease of doing business has been translated into practice. The government aims to stand shoulder to shoulder with investors at every step. To promote agriculture-based industries, investors will be provided subsidies of up to 50 per cent.
During the event, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav participated in ‘The Economic Times’ Changemakers of Madhya Pradesh 2.0 and also released a coffee table book published by the institution. He honoured industrialists, industry bodies and new entrepreneurs on the occasion. The Chief Minister said that those being honoured have not only invested in Madhya Pradesh but has also opened new avenues of employment for the youth. Their contribution in employment-oriented sectors such as education and healthcare is strengthening and securing the state’s future. Such changemakers, he said, represent the true identity of Madhya Pradesh 2.0.
