Tourism and Adventure Sports Creating Employment Opportunities for Youth: CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, February 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai was seen in a unique and refreshing style today as he purchased a ₹10 entry ticket and enjoyed adventure sports activities at the popular Mayali Nature Camp. By personally paying the entry fee, the Chief Minister conveyed a strong message of equality and adherence to rules to citizens. During the visit, he also formally inaugurated several new adventure sports facilities at the camp.

On this occasion, Mrs. Kaushalya Sai, MLA Mrs. Gomati Sai, Dr. Rampratap Singh, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Dr. Rohit Yadav, Secretary, Tourism Department, Mr. Vivek Acharya, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, along with public representatives, officials, staff, and a large number of sports enthusiasts were present.

The Chief Minister appreciated the infrastructure developed at the nature camp, the safety arrangements, facilities available for tourists, and initiatives aimed at connecting local youth with self-employment opportunities. He said that nature-based tourism and adventure activities not only promote environmental conservation but also create new avenues of employment and income for local communities.

Chief Minister Inaugurates Four New Adventure Sports

Chief Minister Sai personally rode an ATV (sports motorbike) at the Mayali Nature Camp and experienced adventure tourism firsthand. He also inaugurated balloon shooting by taking precise aim with a gun, launched archery shooting by shooting arrows at the target, and flagged off mountain cycling, riding a bicycle himself to promote a healthy lifestyle. In addition, he inaugurated a wall climbing board at the camp.

During the event, wall climbers Tej Singh and Tejal Bhagat demonstrated their skills by performing wall climbing in the presence of the Chief Minister, which he appreciated. The Chief Minister was also seen trying his hand at box cricket, playing impressive shots on the off-side and straight drive.

He also visited the cactus garden at the Mayali Nature Camp, where various species of cacti have been planted. Divisional Forest Officer Shashi Kumar briefed the Chief Minister on the medicinal importance of cactus plants.
