Pariksha Pe Charcha Returns: PM Modi to Engage today with Students Again on Stress-Free Exams
New Delhi, Feb 2026 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s widely followed student outreach programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha, is set to air its second episode of the 2026 edition on February 9 at 10 a.m., continuing its mission of guiding students to approach examinations with confidence and a stress-free mindset.
The interactive session will be broadcast across multiple platforms, including the Prime Minister’s official YouTube channel, Doordarshan and other digital media outlets, ensuring maximum reach among students, parents and teachers across the country. Organised by the Ministry of Education, the initiative has emerged as a key national platform for addressing exam-related stress and fostering a positive learning environment.
Announcing the upcoming episode on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Charcha on stress-free exams continues… Do watch the second episode of #ParikshaPeCharcha26. This episode features ExamWarriors from Devmogra, Coimbatore, Raipur and Guwahati. Their questions and perspectives make this episode a must-watch!” The post underlined the diverse regional representation that has become a hallmark of the programme.
In this session, the Prime Minister is expected to share practical and relatable advice on managing board examinations, building self-confidence, staying focused and dealing with anxiety and performance pressure. Through direct interaction, he will address common concerns faced by students while also encouraging parents and teachers to play a supportive role during the exam season.
The format of Pariksha Pe Charcha brings together students from different states and backgrounds, allowing them to share their experiences and ask questions directly to the Prime Minister. This diversity of voices enriches the discussion and ensures that students from across the country feel represented and heard.
The 2026 edition has already achieved a new milestone, with more than 4.5 crore registrations from students, parents and teachers — the highest since the programme’s inception. This overwhelming participation reflects the growing trust in the initiative as a source of reassurance and guidance during a crucial academic phase.
The first session of this year’s programme was aired on February 6, during which Prime Minister Modi interacted warmly with participants and responded to their questions. In a short video shared online, he was seen engaging energetically with students, posing questions and listening attentively to their responses. He also explained that feedback from students across the country had prompted a multi-location approach this year, making the programme more inclusive.
Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown steadily over the years. Registrations rose from around 38.8 lakh in 2023 to 2.26 crore in 2024, followed by 3.53 crore in 2025 — a figure that earned the programme a Guinness World Record. The even higher participation in 2026 highlights its expanding reach and relevance.
Students from states such as Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Assam have featured prominently in recent interactions, bringing regional perspectives and real-life challenges into the national conversation. Throughout the programme, Prime Minister Modi has consistently emphasised viewing examinations as a celebration of learning rather than a source of fear, while advocating balanced routines, healthy habits and self-belief.
With board and competitive examinations approaching, the second episode promises to offer more motivation and practical insights. Students and educators alike are encouraged to tune in and be part of this nationwide dialogue aimed at making education joyful, meaningful and stress-free.
