CM Bhajanlal Sharma Attends Hanumant Katha in Pushkar, Reaffirms Commitment to Sanatan Culture

Jaipur, February 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Tuesday participated in the three-day Hanumant Katha held at Pushkar, where he felicitated Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head priest of Bageshwar Dham. Listening to the discourse with devotion, the Chief Minister said that such spiritual events in Pushkar are igniting the light of Sanatan culture and, in particular, nurturing a deeper understanding of Indian culture and spiritual values among the youth. He noted that such gatherings strengthen moral values, national spirit, and cultural pride in society.

Worship at the Brahma Temple
The Chief Minister also offered prayers with traditional rituals at the world-renowned Brahma Temple, praying for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.

Mr. Sharma said that the sacred land of Pushkar represents a unique confluence of spiritual consciousness, cultural heritage, and Sanatan faith. The Brahma Temple, he added, holds a distinctive identity worldwide and stands as both a major center of faith and a symbol of Rajasthan’s cultural गौरव.

Highlighting Pushkar’s geographical and spiritual uniqueness, the Chief Minister said the town is not only a spiritual hub but also a symbol of exceptional natural heritage. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the comprehensive and planned development of major pilgrimage centers such as Pushkar, Giriraj Ji, Khatu Shyam Ji, and Balaji, so that devotees can benefit from more convenient and well-organized pilgrimages. He emphasized that the government continues to work steadfastly for the preservation of culture, spiritual heritage, and Sanatan traditions.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Bhagirath Choudhary, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Education Minister Madan Dilawar, along with other public representatives, officials, and a large number of devotees, were present on the occasion.
