President Droupadi Murmu Visits Samadhi of Sant Gajanan Maharaj; Reviews Temple परिसर in Shegaon

Buldhana, February 2026 : The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, today paid her respects at the samadhi of Sant Gajanan Maharaj in Shegaon, located in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district.

On the occasion, Acharya Devvrat, Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav, trustees of the Sant Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan including Shri Neelkanth Shivshankar Patil and Shri Harihar Neelkanth Patil, senior officials of the Ministry of AYUSH, and other dignitaries were present.

The President was formally welcomed by the Sansthan with a traditional aukshan ceremony. She then offered prayers at the samadhi of Sant Gajanan Maharaj and reviewed the temple परिसर, receiving information about its facilities and arrangements.

Following the visit, President Murmu departed for the main venue of the National Health Fair programme.
