New Delhi, February 2026 : Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta on Thursday presented her government’s one-year report card before the people during the ‘Pravas Programme’ organised in the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Addressing the public gathering, she stated that the report card is not merely a list of figures, but a testament to the government’s commitment to public service, welfare, and the vision of a ‘Viksit Delhi’.
On the occasion, Member of Parliament from North West Delhi Shri Yogender Chandolia, Member of Parliament from New Delhi Ms Bansuri Swaraj, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, MLA from Moti Nagar Shri Harish Khurana, MLA from Malviya Nagar Shri Satish Upadhyay, MLA from Greater Kailash Smt Shikha Roy, MLA from Kasturba Nagar Shri Neeraj Basoya, MLA from Rajendra Nagar Shri Umang Bajaj, former Minister Shri Raj Kumar Anand, former MLA Shri Subhash Sachdeva, District President Shri Virendra Babbar, Shri Ravindra Chaudhary, BJP office-bearers, party workers, and a large number of local residents were present.
Reiterating her government’s commitment, the Chief Minister said that this report card is not merely a compilation of statistics, but a symbol of the government’s unwavering dedication to public service, welfare, and the vision of a ‘Viksit Delhi’. After a gap of 27 years, the BJP government formed in Delhi has worked to realise the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s guiding mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, striving to ensure basic amenities reach every Assembly constituency and every individual.
The Chief Minister informed that nine Atal Canteens have been established in the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. To strengthen infrastructure, development projects worth approximately ₹135 crore are underway in the Moti Nagar Assembly constituency, including the construction of a foot overbridge at Kirti Nagar and a bridge over the Najafgarh drain. In the R.K. Puram Assembly constituency, development works worth nearly ₹100 crore are progressing at a rapid pace.
Additionally, the replacement of old water pipelines across nine Assembly constituencies is being carried out on a war footing. In a major step towards improving traffic management and urban infrastructure, Phase II of the Savitri Flyover in Greater Kailash has been approved. Furthermore, an automated multi-level parking facility has been launched at M-Block.
Taking a swipe at previous governments, the Chief Minister stated that the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency once struggled for basic amenities, but today it is playing a leading role in achieving the goal of a ‘Viksit Delhi’. She expressed confidence that this government is not one of mere announcements, but one that delivers results by completing works on time.
