The effort handed Jammu & Kashmir a commanding first-innings lead of 291 runs, effectively putting them in control of the contest.
In their second innings, Jammu & Kashmir further tightened their grip on the final. Openers Qamran Iqbal and Sahil Lotra produced composed centuries, batting with maturity and patience to take the game completely out of Karnataka’s reach. With an unassailable lead in hand, the team declared their innings, and the match eventually ended in a draw, sealing the title for Jammu & Kashmir on the basis of the decisive first-innings advantage.
Led by the experienced Paras Dogra, the Jammu & Kashmir side dominated key phases of the final, combining discipline, resilience and tactical clarity to outplay one of the most successful teams in the tournament’s history.
