CM Sai received an invitation to participate in the Dahi Handi festival competition organized on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami

The officials and members of Sarvajanik Dahi Handi Utsav Samiti Gudhiyari, Raipur paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office today. They invited the Chief Minister to participate in the Dahi Handi Utsav competition being organized on August 27 on the occasion of Lord Shri Krishna’s birth anniversary. Chief Minister Shri Sai thanked the committee members for the invitation. On this occasion, Shri Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Convenor Shri Basant Agarwal, Co-convenor Shri Hemendra Sahu and officials were present.

Convenor Shri Agarwal said that in this competition, not only from the state but also from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Odisha and other states, Govinda groups are coming to participate in the competition. He said that for the entertainment of Shri Krishna devotees, the committee will present a cultural program by Shiv Bhajan singer Baba Hansraj Raghuvanshi ji and Chhattisgarh’s beloved daughters Garima-Swarna Diwakar and artists from Odisha will also perform Ghanta Baja. Along with this, the captivating tableau of Krishna Leela from Vrindavan will be the center of special attraction.
