Lucknow/Mirzapur, March 2026 : Gorakshapeeth Peethadheeshwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Maa Vindhyavasini Temple on Tuesday. He performed aarti of the Goddess and prayed for a happy, healthy and prosperous Uttar Pradesh. CM offered a red chunari to Maa Vindhyavasini as a mark of devotion and also performed parikrama of the temple.
Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for Chaitra Navratri and instructed administration to ensure smooth darshan arrangements for devotees during Chaitra Navratri and Ram Navami. He also emphasized maintaining cleanliness in and around the temple premises.
After this, CM inspected Vindhyavasini Corridor and nearby stalls. He greeted devotees present there. During the visit, he noticed some children, interacted with them, asked about their well-being and studies. He advised them to limit mobile phone usage and distributed chocolates among them.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ashish Patel, MLA Ratnakar Mishra, MLC Vineet Singh, along with other local public representatives, were also present.
