AP Leaders Extend Ugadi Greetings, Wish Prosperity and Harmony
Amaravati, March 2026 : Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday extended warm greetings to people on the occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year, expressing hope for prosperity, peace, and happiness in the coming year.
In his message marking the auspicious ‘Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsara Ugadi,’ the Governor conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu communities across the world. He described Ugadi as a festival of joy and renewal, expressing confidence that the New Year would bring a bright and prosperous future for all.
Highlighting the traditional significance of Ugadi Pachhadi, a dish that combines multiple flavors, he said it symbolizes the varied experiences of life and serves as a reminder to embrace both joys and challenges with resilience. He expressed hope that the new year would usher in peace, harmony, and well-being for all sections of society.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also extended his greetings, wishing that the New Year brings renewed hope, good health, and fulfillment of aspirations for every individual. He called upon people to actively participate in development initiatives aimed at building an inclusive and equitable society.
Referring to the government’s “P4 initiative,” he emphasized the goal of creating a poverty-free state and urged citizens to contribute to welfare and development programmes. He also expressed optimism about the successful progress of the ‘Swarna Andhra Vision 2047,’ aimed at long-term growth and prosperity.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan conveyed his wishes, hoping that the festival brings joy and positivity into the lives of all people.
Leaders from other political parties also extended greetings on the occasion. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Y. S. Sharmila conveyed their best wishes, reflecting the spirit of unity and celebration associated with the festival.
