Kangana Ranaut Celebrates 40th Birthday with PM Modi in Delhi

Mumbai, March 2026 : Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut marked her 40th birthday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and her family in the national capital, calling it a memorable and special occasion.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Kangana shared a series of pictures from the celebration. The images showed her interacting with the Prime Minister, presenting him with a framed artwork and a traditional shawl. Her family members were also present during the meeting.

In her caption, Kangana expressed gratitude for the opportunity, writing that she received time and guidance from the Prime Minister along with her family, making it a memorable birthday experience.

Kangana Ranaut is widely regarded as one of the most outspoken and influential personalities in the Indian entertainment industry. She rose to prominence with a string of critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Queen, Tanu Weds Manu and its sequel, as well as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. These performances established her as a leading actress known for strong, women-centric roles.

Over the years, Kangana has built a distinct public persona, often making headlines for her bold and sometimes controversial views on the film industry, nationalism, and political issues. Her outspoken nature has made her a polarising figure, drawing both strong support and criticism.

Her formal entry into politics came in 2024 when she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and contested the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh. In her debut electoral contest, she secured a decisive victory, defeating Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh by a margin of 74,755 votes.

This win marked a significant transition in her career, from being a cultural and cinematic icon to holding public office as a Member of Parliament. Politically, Kangana aligns herself with nationalist ideologies often associated with the BJP.

Today, she continues to balance her roles in cinema and politics, reflecting a growing trend of celebrities stepping into governance. Whether admired for her assertiveness or criticised for her statements, Kangana Ranaut remains a prominent figure who consistently shapes conversations across both entertainment and political arenas.
