‘Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin’ Scheme Enhances the Respect of Women – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Yavatmal : Various decisions have been taken for women over the past two months. To increase their participation and ‘respect’ in society and the family, we have launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin’ scheme. So far, 14 million women have registered for this scheme, of which 10.7 million sisters have already received the amount in their accounts. The registration will continue until the application of the last sister in the state is submitted, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde while interacting with the beloved sisters in Yavatmal.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the fulfillment rally organized for the promotion of the Ladki Bahin scheme under the Chief Minister Women Empowerment Campaign. Over 50,000 beloved sisters from across the district attended the rally. After the arrival of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Ajit Pawar at the venue, the beloved sisters tied them rakhi and expressed their gratitude for the fulfillment of promises.

Union Minister of State Prataprao Jadhav, State Industries Minister Uday Samant, Guardian Minister Sanjay Rathod, MLA Bhavana Gawli, MLA Kiran Sarnai, MLA Madan Yerawar, MLA Prof. Dr. Ashok Uike, MLA Dr. Sandeep Dhurve, MLA Sanjeevreddy Bodkurwar, MLA Namdev Sasane, MLA Indranil Naik, District Collector Dr. Pankaj Ashiya, Chief Executive Officer Mandar Patki, and others were present at the event.

A few days ago, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program, we witnessed a sea of women here in Yavatmal. Today, too, the immense power of women is evident. I have come here to pay respect to this power. For those sisters who have not yet registered, we will register them and give them the amount for three months simultaneously. Our goal is to register every eligible woman. Provisions have been made for a year’s funding to ensure the smooth running of the scheme. We have decided to provide 100% free education for girls to pursue higher studies. Additionally, to reduce the financial burden on homemakers, three free cylinders per year are being provided, said Mr. Shinde.

In recent days, the state government has launched various schemes for women. Our policy is to economically empower the women of the state through these schemes. Through this, we dream of seeing every sister in the state become a millionaire. Along with the beloved sisters, we also introduced the Chief Minister Youth Employment Training Scheme for beloved brothers. Under this scheme, brothers are provided with a monthly scholarship ranging from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 10,000. For the beloved farmers in the state, we have also launched the Mukhyamantri Baliraja Free Electricity Scheme. Henceforth, farmers with electricity consumption of up to 7.5 HP will not need to pay electricity bills. To protect farmers’ crops, we have provided an option to participate in the crop insurance scheme by paying just one rupee. It is mandatory for insurance companies to compensate farmers who suffer losses. Strict action will be taken against companies that delay compensation payments, said Chief Minister Shinde.

State Government Empowering Women – Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

The state government has introduced various welfare schemes for the general welfare of women. Through these schemes, the government continuously empowers women. The Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin scheme is a scheme that empowers women. To celebrate the birth of a girl child, the Lek Ladki scheme has been launched. Under this scheme, a girl will receive Rs. 100,000 by the time she turns 18. We have initiated a 50% discount on bus fares for women. The revolving fund for self-help groups has been increased, and Rs. 8,500 crore has been provided to self-help groups. A few days ago, an unfortunate incident occurred in Badlapur. To prevent such incidents, inquiries about misconduct are being made in every school to protect girls.

The decision to provide free electricity to farmers has been taken. In the coming days, farmers will receive 12 hours of electricity during the day, which will prevent them from having to go to the fields at night. Last year, the prices of cotton and soybeans fell, causing losses to farmers. We are providing financial assistance to those farmers who suffered losses. Efforts are being made to ensure that the prices of agricultural products do not decrease. The Wainganga, Nalaganga, and Painganga projects will prove to be a boon for Vidarbha. These projects will bring 50,000 hectares of land in Yavatmal district under irrigation, said Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis.

No Sister Will Be Left Out – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

The Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin scheme has made women from Chandya to Bandya happy. Not a single sister who meets the criteria of the scheme will be left out. This amount is the rightful amount for women. This scheme will accelerate progress in both urban and rural areas. We are providing 3 free cylinders annually to 52,000 families in the state. The state government has launched many schemes like free electricity for farmers and free education for girls. To prevent misconduct against girls, we have enacted the Shakti law. Once the President approves it, the law will be implemented. We also believe that those who commit such misconduct should receive the death penalty, said Deputy Chief Minister Pawar.

Working with the Common People as the Focus – Guardian Minister Sanjay Rathod

The state government is working with a focus on farmers, women, the poor, laborers, and youth. Considering the needs of the common people, schemes are being implemented accordingly. Under the Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin scheme, the government has decided to provide Rs. 1,500. In Yavatmal district, Rs. 4,60,000 has been deposited into the accounts of women. The state government has brought many good schemes in recent days, said Guardian Minister Rathod. Despite the rain during the rally in Yavatmal, a large number of women attended. More than 50,000 women participated in this event.
