Khelo India Tribal Games 2026: One-Sided Matches in Women’s Hockey

Raipur, March 2026: The women’s hockey competition at the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 witnessed a series of one-sided matches on the third day at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Hockey Stadium in Raipur.

In Pool A, Madhya Pradesh dominated Bihar with a convincing 9-0 victory. In Pool B, Jharkhand registered a massive 16-0 win over Gujarat, while Odisha defeated Tamil Nadu 14-0. All matches played during the day were one-sided, with the winning teams maintaining complete control throughout the games.

It is noteworthy that the inaugural edition of the Khelo India Tribal Games has brought together participants from 30 states and Union Territories. Around 3,800 athletes are competing across nine different sports disciplines.

A total of 106 gold medals are at stake in sports such as archery, athletics, football, hockey, swimming, weightlifting, and wrestling. Additionally, Mallakhamb and kabaddi have been included as demonstration sports in the event.
