DP&AR Minister Pu K. Sapdanga Inaugurates 10th Foundation Training for Junior Grade MSS Officers

Aizawl : This morning at 10:00 AM, DP&AR Minister Pu K. Sapdanga inaugurated the ’10th Foundation Training for Junior Grade of MSS Officers’ at the Administrative Training Institute, MINECO. The event was also graced by Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo, Secretary to the Government of Mizoram and former President of the Mizoram Secretariat Service Association (MSSA).

In his address, Pu K. Sapdanga emphasized the critical role MSS officers play within the Mizoram government, urging the trainees to carry out their duties with dedication and integrity. He described the training as essential, not just as a routine exercise but as one of the most important tools for those who aspire to serve the state effectively. “For those committed to the service of the state, training is indispensable,” he stated. He encouraged the officers to learn from their mistakes and to serve the public with diligence and efficiency, urging them to remain steadfast and committed in their roles.

Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo, Secretary to the Government of Mizoram, I&PR/Vigilance, and MSSA President, highlighted the importance of the officers’ roles in shaping the government’s functions. She noted that their performance could significantly impact the effectiveness and reputation of government departments, urging them to work with dedication and responsibility.

The program was chaired by Pu Lalhmansanga, Joint Director (Admn), ATI, with a vote of thanks delivered by Pu Lalremruata Ralte, Joint Director (Trg). This year, 30 officers are participating in the Junior Grade MSS Officers Training.
