Iranian President Calls For A Unified Muslim Community In Counterfeiting Foreign Plots.

Tehran; April 2026: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian today (20th April 2026) have urged for strengthening unity among Islamic countries is the most important way to counter conspiracies and prevent foreign powers from taking advantage. Speaking during a supervisory visit to the Ministry of Justice on Monday, Pezeshkian received a comprehensive report on the ministry’s actions and missions under the special circumstances resulting from the recent US-Israeli aggression.

Pezeshkian noted that through “empathy, honesty, and collective participation, we can get past this stage and continue the country’s path toward dignity and progress”. He has highlighted the need for a rational approach toward regional and international developments, adding, “War benefits no one. While standing firm against threats, we must use every rational and diplomatic path to reduce tensions”. He further noted that distrust toward the enemy and vigilance in interactions remain an undeniable necessity.

Following the US and Israel’s recent aerial strikes on Iran launched on February 28, Iran retaliated with barrages of missile and drone attacks on Israeli-occupied territories and US bases and interests in the region.

The Iranian President has noted that passing through the battlefield does not mean the end of the road. Rather, it marks the beginning of a more important phase: the ‘Jihad Akbar’. He described this as a struggle in which all people must play a role through patience, tolerance, cooperation, and active participation in rebuilding the country and solving its problems. “This phase requires greater mental and social readiness than the war era”, he added.

Referring to the decisive role of the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei and martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Pezeshkian stated, “The support and directives of the great and martyred Leader of the Revolution have been a solid pillar for the government since the very beginning of its work. It was the coordination formed in the light of these guidelines that today makes effective decision-making and overcoming challenges possible”, he highlighted.

It is of omnipotent importance that, earlier on 07th April (just two weeks ago) Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, in a message have called on the Iranian nation to maintain its unity and perseverance amid the US-Israeli war of aggression, describing it as a “sacred and historic resistance” against the “front of infidelity and corruption”.

In his message, the Qom-based top-ranking cleric urged the different segments of society, including the general public, armed forces, and government officials, to continue on their current path with resolve as the war imposed on the Islamic Republic nears 40 days. He has specifically called for the preservation of national unity, the avoidance of any divisive issues, and strict adherence to the guidelines of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

In the first of five key points, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi expressed gratitude to the country’s defenders, including military, law enforcement, security, and Basij forces. He praised their self-sacrifice and unwavering faith in maintaining the nation’s security and independence. He also thanked the emergency responders, medical personnel, and others, including officials, relevant institutions, and popular revolutionary groups, for their services during the war.

The senior cleric had emphasised that the widespread and conscious presence of the people on the scene has played a crucial role in neutralising the conspiracies of enemies. He has described this public participation as a “great asset” for the country and a determining factor in achieving national goals, urging that this presence be maintained with the same enthusiasm and awareness.

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi also highlighted the role of allied forces and resistance movements in the region, describing their efforts as a manifestation of divine assistance that has bewildered and incapacitated the enemies. He has specifically mentioned the resistance forces in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria.

Despite pressures and sustained blows, he noted, these forces have appeared on the field in a surprising way, which he attributed solely to divine power and grace. The cleric has acknowledged hardships and sacrifices, but asserted that the Iranian nation currently holds the “upper hand on the battlefield and in the social arena”. He warned that the enemy will likely intensify pressures in an attempt to shake national resolve.
