Madhya Pradesh Utsav will provide an opportunity to know and understand Madhya Pradesh: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is a rich state in terms of cultural, historical, archaeological, tribal heritage, tourism, art, lifestyle diverse cuisine, etc. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a unique 4-day ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav” has been organized in the country’s capital to acquaint the people of Delhi and other states with the rich cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh, the heart of the country. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this while inaugurating the Madhya Pradesh Utsav at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi on Friday. On the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Madhya Pradesh Utsav has been organized for the first time on a massive scale in Delhi, which will run from August 30 to September 2, 2024.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that through Madhya Pradesh Utsav, the people of Delhi and tourists from other states will get an opportunity to learn about the richly diverse culture and other aspects of Madhya Pradesh, the heart of the country. Visitors will not only know and understand the rich heritage of the state but will also be able to enjoy the special dishes made from superfood, ‘Shri Anna’ including the special dishes made in different regions of Madhya Pradesh, which are diverse.

M.P. Heritage shown through exhibition

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that excellent work has been done by the Archeology Department in Madhya Pradesh. The department is successfully carrying out the challenging task of restoring ancient dilapidated temples and shrines. He appreciated the ‘Heritage of Madhya Pradesh’ exhibition organized by the Directorate of Archaeological Archives and Museum. In the exhibition organized in Madhya Pradesh Utsav, on the one hand, an innovative effort has been made to honor the paintings of Gond artists, on the other hand, efforts have been made to make people aware of about 10 thousand years old painting, the rock paintings of Bhimbaitka.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took a selfie at the selfie point of the exhibition of the Department of Public Relations. Appreciating the exhibition, in the visitor’s book Dr. Yadav wrote that ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav has been organized in a very good and befitting manner, congratulations.’ Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperatives Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang and officials and spectators were also present in the program.
