Maximum 258 youths selected for Naib Tehsildar posts

Appointment letters distributed to 932 candidates selected for various posts in 21 departments

196 appointed as Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax), 142 as Commercial Tax Officers

72 youths became Block Development Officers

Lucknow, May 2026 : Appointment letters were distributed on a large scale in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Under the Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination 2024 conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, appointment letters were given on Monday to 932 candidates selected for various posts in 21 departments. Among them, the highest number of candidates (258 youths) were appointed as Naib Tehsildars.

Appointment letters were also given to 196 Assistant Commissioners (Commercial Tax) and 142 youths appointed as Commercial Tax Officers. Meanwhile, 72 youths became Block Development Officers. The faces of the newly selected candidates lit up after receiving appointment letters from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhavan.
