Resolve complaints received on CM Window on a priority basis: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini
Chandigarh, May 2026 : Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that resolving people’s grievances is the state government’s top priority. He directed officials not to show any negligence in addressing public complaints.
The Chief Minister was reviewing complaints received on the CM Window portal during a meeting with administrative officials. Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police, and Divisional Commissioners from all districts also joined the meeting through videoconferencing.
Reviewing complaints related to various departments at the district level, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure their prompt resolution. He also instructed that nodal officers be appointed at every district level for CM Window issues.
The Chief Minister sought detailed information from all Deputy Commissioners regarding complaints received through the CM Window and issued necessary directions. He said that along with resolved complaints, unresolved issues should also be reviewed carefully.
While reviewing issues related to the Housing Board, the Chief Minister said that pending payments to the public would be released on the 10th June by pressing a button, and officials should complete all preparations for the same.
He directed officials to regularly review complaints received on the CM Window and ensure their speedy disposal so that citizens’ problems are resolved within the stipulated time frame. He warned that negligence in CM Window cases would not be tolerated.
The Chief Minister also instructed all departments to take immediate action on complaints and upload ATRs (Action Taken Reports) at the earliest to ensure time-bound disposal of grievances.
He said that complaints received on the CM Window are also reviewed during Samadhan Shivirs. These camps are organized so that citizens do not have to visit multiple offices to get their problems resolved. Officials from concerned departments remain present at these camps, listen to people’s grievances, and resolve them on the spot.
He further directed departments to conduct random verification of resolved complaints to ensure citizen satisfaction. Reviewing complaints related to the Police Department, the Chief Minister instructed that all Station House Officers should be directed to listen carefully to every individual. The Police Department has been asked to issue separate orders in this regard. He said complaints should not arise that a person’s grievance was not even heard.
The government has also decided to organize Revenue Lok Adalats for resolving complaints related to the Revenue Department. He directed public dealing departments to ensure prompt resolution of even minor complaints so that citizens do not face unnecessary inconvenience.
The Chief Minister also ordered an inquiry against a Naib Tehsildar in Karnal for delay in the measurement of 100-square-yard plots. Similarly, he ordered an investigation into a complaint by Jarnail, a resident of Baroda in Jind district, regarding non-payment of an animal insurance claim.
The Chief Minister said that he himself would monitor complaints received through Samadhan Shivirs, the CM Window, and those presented directly before him. Therefore, officials must ensure proper resolution of all three categories of complaints. He also directed that district-level reviews of special CM Window cases be conducted every Friday.
Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Arun Kumar Gupta, ACS Dr. Sumita Misra, Sudhir Rajpal, Dr. Raja Sekhar Vundru, A.K. Singh, G. Anupama, and other administrative officials were present in the meeting.
