Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Prays for the Prosperity and Happiness of All at Bhimashankar Temple

Pune : Chief Minister Eknath Shinde performed the traditional worship of the Jyotirlinga at Shri Kshetra Bhimashankar Temple, praying for good rainfall across the state, a bountiful harvest, and the happiness and prosperity of all the farmers in Maharashtra.

After the pooja, Chief Minister Shinde was honored by the Bhimashankar Devasthan Trust. Among those present were MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, MHADA’s Pune Housing and Area Development Board Chairman Shivajirao Adharao Patil, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Santosh Patil, Pune Rural Police Superintendent Pankaj Deshmukh, Additional Collector Ajay More, and former MLA Sharad Sonwane.

Following his darshan at Bhimashankar, Chief Minister Shinde expressed his gratitude, stating, “Devotees from across the state are fortunate to receive darshan here. Like every year, I have come for darshan on this Shravani Monday. After darshan and abhisheka, I feel a deep sense of satisfaction. This ancient temple radiates positive energy. I pray to Bhima Shankar for the happiness and prosperity of all the people in the state, for good days ahead, and for transformative changes in their lives.”

Chief Minister Shinde also highlighted the various welfare schemes that the Maharashtra government has initiated, including the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, Chief Minister Youth Work Training Scheme, Annapurna Scheme, Chief Minister Baliraja Free Electricity Scheme, Free Vocational Higher Education for Girls, and schemes for Senior Citizens. “We are striving to balance welfare schemes with development,” Shinde added, praying for the strength, motivation, and energy to continue these efforts.

On this occasion, several officials were present, including Village Sub-Divisional Officer Anil Daunde, Junnar-Ambegaon Sub-Divisional Officer Govind Shinde, Village Sub-Divisional Police Officer Amol Mandve, Village Tehsildar and Devasthan Executive Trustee Jyoti Deore, Shri Kshetra Bhimashankar Devasthan President Adv. Suresh Kaudre, and Trustees Madhukar Gawande, Dattatray Kaudre, Ratnakar Kodilkar, and Sarpanch Dattatray Hille.
