CM Patel Contributes to the Shikshak Kalyan Nidhi Fund
Gandhinagar : On September 5th, Teacher’s Day, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel recognized the vital role of teachers in shaping society and contributed to the Shikshak Kalyan Nidhi Fund. Students from St. Xavier’s School and the School of Achievers in Gandhinagar visited the Chief Minister’s residence to collect voluntary contributions for the fund, a tradition that honours the legacy of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former President and lifelong teacher, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teacher’s Day nationwide. Acknowledging the impact of teachers on both people and society, the Chief Minister conveyed his gratitude by making his contribution to the fund and joining others in this meaningful gesture. The CM also interacted with the school children who came to collect the contribution. On this occasion, District Collector Shri Mehul Dave, District Development Officer Shri J.B. Patel, District Education Officer Dr. Bhagwanbhai Prajapati, Primary Education Officer Shri Piyush Patel, and other officials and teachers of the school were present.
