Chakradhar Samaroh-2024: International wrestling players will show their skills

Under the Chakradhar Samaroh, programs based on art and culture will be organized at the Ramlila Ground of Raigarh from 7th September along with sports competitions. National and international wrestling players will show their skills in the Chakradhar Samaroh, while local players will get a chance to show their skills in the Kabaddi competition. All India and state level wrestling competition will be organized on 11th and 12th September, while the Kabaddi competition will be organized on 13th, 14th and 15th September.

Invitations have been sent to women and men wrestlers of Chhatrasal Arena New Delhi, Raipura Wrestling Academy (Navy) Haryana, Sushil Kumar Wrestling Academy Hisar Haryana, Chaudhary Charan Singh Arena Meerut, Karnataka Vyayamshala Karnataka, Mehar Singh Arena Rohtak, Master Chandgi Ram Arena Delhi, Maharashtra Wrestling Association Pune and Goa Wrestling Academy Goa to participate in the All India and State Level Wrestling Competition. The operators of all the academies and arenas have given their consent to send their best women and men wrestlers. International referees Mr. Ajit Mandeepak Chahar, Mr. Jashbir Singh Dhaka and women referee Ms. Pratibha Dubey will also be present to conduct this competition.  

Wrestlers from different states will show their skills in the All India and state level wrestling competition. In this, in 57 to 75 kg category, Mr. Vishal Tomar, Vinay Tomar, Yash Kumar, Arjun Pradhan, Satendra Tomar, Nishant Kumar, Bhanu, Nihal Gupta, Vansh, Himanshu, Lucky, Alok Kumar from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh will participate. Similarly, in the 56 to 110 kg category, Mr. Aniruddh Kumar, Ashish, Vishal, Atul, Nikhil, Sagar, Amit, Sumit, Vikas, Ashish from Delhi; in the 57 to 110 kg category, Mr. Laxman Yadav, Sachin Miri, Sher Bahadur from Uttar Pradesh; in the 50 to 110 kg category, Mr. Lucky Yadav, Satyendra Nishad, Sunil Nishad, Sheikh Fardeen, Santoshi Chandrakar from Durg, Chhattisgarh; in the 55 to 110 kg category, Mr. Vishal Pandey, Pawan Kumar, Shubhankar Yadav, Satpal Yadav, Satyendra Kumar Yadav, Sachin Paswan, Vijendra Pal, Mrityunjay Yadav, Ankit Yadav, Satyam Kumar Singh, Himanshu Yadav and Ashwani Kumar Pandey from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh; in the 50 to 80 kg category, Kunal Yadav, Manish Yadav, Girja Shankar, Ariyant Bhoi, Harsh Chandravanshi, Sandeep Yadav, Yanesh Sahu, Ved Kumari Netam, Lakshmi Sahu, Lokeshwar Nishad and Miss Monica Bhoi is included. Similarly, in the 55 to 76 kg category, women wrestlers include Sheetal, Anjali, Dolly, Renu, Suchi, Khushboo, Vashu, Anjali and Varsha. There
will be competition in four weight categories for women and men wrestlers, in which cash prizes will also be awarded to the winning wrestlers. Chhattisgarh Wrestling Association is providing support in making this event successful.

Male and female players will show their skills in Kabaddi competition-

On the occasion of Chakradhar Samaroh-2024, a Kabaddi competition will be organized from 13 to 15 September at the Women’s Ramlila Ground. In which players of both male and female categories will participate. A total of 13 teams are included in the men’s category. These include development blocks Raigarh, Pusaur, Kharsia, Gharghoda, Tamnar, Lalunga, Dharamjaigarh, Police Department, Home Guard, Municipal Corporation, Baramkela, Sarangarh and Purvanchal Kabaddi Team. Similarly, a total of 14 teams will participate in the women’s category. These include development blocks Raigarh, Pusaur, Kharsia, Gharghoda, Tamnar, Lalunga, Dharamjaigarh, Police Department, Home Guard, Municipal Corporation, Baramkela, Sarangarh, Adani Power Co. Ltd. and Jindal Power Tamnar Co. Ltd.
