‘An Extremely Emotional Moment for Me’: Prasuchi Panda on Winning Miss Teen Universe India 2026

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), July 2026 : Fresh from winning the Miss Teen Universe India 2026 title on July 20, Prasuchi Panda received a grand welcome upon her first visit to Bhubaneswar on Sunday. To celebrate her achievement, a civic felicitation ceremony was organised at a hotel in the city, where hundreds of supporters, well-wishers, and dignitaries gathered to congratulate the young beauty queen.

A press conference was also held on the occasion, during which Prasuchi interacted with media representatives and confidently responded to their questions about her achievement and future aspirations.

Speaking to ANI, Prasuchi described her return to Bhubaneswar after winning the national title as an “extremely emotional moment.”

“Returning to Bhubaneswar for the first time after winning the Miss Teen Universe India 2026 title is an extremely emotional moment for me. Representing India on the international stage is not only an honour but also a great responsibility. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I know I have to work even harder to make my parents, my state of Odisha, and my country proud,” she said.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support she has received, she added:

“The immense love and encouragement I have received from people across India has filled me with confidence. Representing India has always been my dream, and I will dedicate myself wholeheartedly to bringing the Miss Teen Universe crown home for my country.”

With her victory at the national pageant, Prasuchi has earned the opportunity to represent India at the Miss Teen Universe international competition next year, one of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageants for teenage contestants.

Prasuchi is the daughter of Dharanidhar Panda and Swapna Rani Panda. Her family hails from Hillpatna in Brahmapur (Berhampur), Ganjam district, Odisha.

Her passion for modelling developed while she was still pursuing her studies, inspiring her to move to Delhi to pursue her dreams. Through dedication, perseverance, and consistent hard work, she has established herself as a promising young model in the fashion industry.

Prasuchi began her professional training at the age of four and made her professional runway debut in 2026. Her unwavering commitment and years of preparation have now culminated in winning the prestigious Miss Teen Universe India 2026 crown, setting the stage for her to represent the nation on the global platform.
