Power Minister Orders Suspension of Three Employees for Negligence; Receives Over 390 Complaints at Public Hearing
Jaipur : Power Minister Shri Hiralal Nagar directed the suspension of three employees on Saturday during a public hearing at Sangod in Kota district, following complaints of negligence in their work.
During the hearing, more than 390 complaints were registered. Shri Nagar instructed the officials to ensure swift resolution of the issues raised. One of the key demands from the villagers was the provision of higher-capacity gas cylinders under the Ujjwala Yojana, instead of the current 5 kg ones. Responding promptly, the Power Minister contacted the Sales Manager of HPCL and wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, pledging to address the matter at the central level.
Several complaints also centered around the misconduct and inaction of certain officials. As a result, Shri Nagar ordered the suspension of Sandeep Nagar, Junior Assistant Sudarshan Rajawat, and Vishal Gochar, Junior Clerk of the Tehsil Sangod office, for their failure to perform their duties. He reminded all officials and employees to treat the public respectfully, emphasizing that any mistreatment of citizens seeking help in government offices would not be tolerated. He added that both public representatives and officials share the responsibility of addressing people’s concerns.
District-level officials from various departments were also present at the hearing.
