DCM Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma reached Loharidih along with Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma and MLA Bhavna Bohra
On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw and Shri Vijay Sharma reached Loharidih in Kabirdham district on Saturday. Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, MLA Smt. Bhavna Bohra and senior officials of Sahu community were also with them during this time. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw reached the house of deceased Shri Prashant Sahu in Loharidih and met his mother and expressed deep condolences on behalf of the state government on the incident. He handed over a cheque of ten lakh rupees to the mother of late Shri Prashant Sahu.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, while taking information about the incident from the villagers, said that today we all have come to Loharidih on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Along with the villagers, senior citizens of the society and public representatives, we have expressed our condolences by visiting the houses of the deceased Shri Shiv Prasad Sahu, Raghunath Sahu and Prashant Sahu and meeting their family members and neighbors. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has also expressed his deep condolences and grief over the tragic incident in Loharidih. He has given instructions to investigate every aspect of the incident with detail and full sensitivity.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao said that today we visited the house of deceased Shri Raghunath Sahu and inspected his house burnt in arson. I met the children and relatives of deceased Shri Shiv Prasad and consoled them. Every aspect of the Loharidih incident will be investigated. The victims and the innocent will get justice, the culprits will not be spared. Strictest action will be taken against the culprits. On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, prompt action is being taken on this. After returning, we will inform the Chief Minister about the discussion held with all concerned.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma told the villagers in Loharidih that before coming to the village, he had met the mothers and sisters of the village kept in Durg District Jail. He has instructed them to ensure that they do not face any kind of trouble. The administration has been instructed to conduct regular health check-ups of all the villagers kept in jail on the basis of suspicion. He said that the incident in Loharidih is extremely sad. The government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai stands with the victim families with sensitivity. As the MLA of this area, I will always be with the victim families as a guardian.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma said that Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai has given instructions to investigate the Loharidih incident with complete impartiality. Justice will be done to the victims and the innocent. After the investigation, action will be taken against the culprits as per law. He has appealed to the people of the state and Kabirdham district not to spread any kind of confusion and rumors regarding the Loharidih incident. On the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma, the administration is distributing packets of dry ration, pulses, oil, potatoes, soybean and other essential food items in the houses of villagers in Loharidih. He said that special attention is needed until the situation in the village becomes normal.
