Chief Secretary In Mizoram Launches Rahbi 5.0
Aizawl : The Planning & Programme Implementation Department announced the launch of Mizoram Rahbi 5.0 today at 4:30 PM, chaired by Chief Secretary Dr. Renu Sharma, who is also the Chairperson of the Mizoram Startup Mission (MSUM), at the MINECO conference hall.
During the event, Chief Secretary Dr. Renu Sharma highlighted that Mizoram Rahbi 5.0 is a significant government initiative aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship, encouraging innovation, and supporting sustainable economic growth. She noted, “This initiative will empower the people of Mizoram, providing them with opportunities to innovate and create jobs. The upcoming edition aims to engage at least 7.5 lakh individuals through various programs.”
Mizoram Rahbi 5.0 focuses on fostering a conducive environment for business development and innovation in the state. The Planning & Programme Implementation (P&PI) Department Secretary, Pu Lalmalsawma Pachuau, and other officials were present at the launch.
Mizoram Rahbi 5.0 is set to promote various sectors and introduce new strategies for job creation. This initiative is vital for enhancing economic activities and addressing the needs of the community.
Applications for Mizoram Rahbi 5.0 will be open until October 31, 2024. The first round of applications will be reviewed between November 5-6, followed by a workshop on November 7 to discuss the application process. Participants will then present their business plans on November 18. Final selections will take place on November 22, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to refine their proposals between November 26-28. The final results will be announced on December 2. A boot camp will be held on December 5-6, with further workshops on December 11 to prepare participants for the final business plan submission on December 16, 2024.
