Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin paid his final respects with state honors to the body of Mr. Ezra Sargunam, former Chairperson of the State Minorities Welfare Commission and former Bishop, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 86 due to health issues.
Bishop. Ezra Sargunam had continuously served the Tamil community, particularly the marginalized sections, until his last days. Today (September 26, 2024), his body will be laid to rest at the cemetery in Kamaraj Nagar, Kilpauk Garden Colony. The Chief Minister has arranged for a final tribute with full state honors.
