283 Medical Officers Appointed Online: Maharashtra Health Services Declares Results
Mumbai : The recruitment process for 283 posts of Medical Officer (Group-A cadre) under the Maharashtra Medical and Health Service has been completed. Applications were invited from candidates with BAMS qualifications, following an advertisement released on 31st January 2024. The results of this examination have now been announced on the Health Department’s website, and appointment orders for 283 candidates have been issued online.
A total of 22,981 applications were received through the online portal for these 283 BAMS posts. Due to the overwhelming response, the IBPS organization was involved in the selection process. The examination was conducted online on 5th September 2024, with 18,715 candidates appearing for the test. The results of the online exam were declared on 5th October 2024, and the 283 selected candidates have now received their appointment orders through online mode.
This recruitment process was undertaken on the initiative of Prof. Dr. Tanaji Sawant, the Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare.
As outlined in the advertisement, applications were invited from eligible candidates through the online portal for the selection of Medical Officers in Maharashtra Medical and Health Services Group A. The deadline for submitting applications was from 1st February 2024 to 18th February 2024. The selected candidates have expressed their satisfaction after receiving their appointment letters, according to the department.
