Chief Minister Chairs Meeting Of Mizoram State Transport Authority
Aizawl – The Chief Minister today chaired a meeting of the Mizoram State Transport Authority at his office. Discussions were held on improving the system for passenger transportation in Mizoram. Also present at the meeting were Home Minister Pu K. Sapdanga, Transport Minister Pu Vanlalhlana, and Supply Minister Pu B. Lalchhanzova.
The State Transport Authority outlined new initiatives, including the introduction of an Online Cab Booking System, and measures to regulate Maxi Cab services within Aizawl city. Due to the recent cessation of Sumo vehicle production, it was also decided to reintroduce bus services to Thingtlang Bazar. Plans were discussed to ensure the efficient operation of these services.
Officials believe that the introduction of the Online Cab Booking System will help streamline transportation, and other improvements for passengers were also discussed during the meeting.
