Rising Rajasthan Pre-Summit of Urban Development Department to be Held in Jaipur on October 14

Jaipur : To ensure the success of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit-2024 (scheduled for December 09 to 11), the Urban Development Department of the Government of Rajasthan, in collaboration with the Autonomous Government Department, is organizing the Rising Rajasthan Pre-Summit on October 14. In preparation for the Summit, a review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department, Vaibhav Galaria, to discuss necessary tasks, including venue management, media management, protocol for delegates, and MoU signing.

During the meeting, officials from the Urban Development Department, Autonomous Government Department, Jaipur Development Authority, Rajasthan Housing Board, and Town Planning Department discussed preparations for the pre-investment summit on October 14, 2024. The nodal officers appointed by the Principal Government Secretary of the Urban Development Department for the Pre-Investment Summit have been directed to complete their assigned tasks with diligence and responsibility.

Mr. Vaibhav Galaria announced that Deputy Secretary-I of the Urban Development Department, Mr. Ravi Vijay, has been appointed as Nodal Officer. Deputy Secretary-II, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, will coordinate the MoUs for the Urban Development Department, Autonomous Government Department, Jaipur Development Authority, Rajasthan Housing Board, and Town Planning Department. Additionally, Deputy Director Mr. Sanjay Sharma has been appointed as Assistant Officer. Director of Engineering at JDA, Mr. Devendra Gupta, will serve as Nodal Officer for venue management in coordination with CII. The Additional Commissioner for Protocol and Delegates Administration at JDA, Priya Balram Sharma, along with Additional Commissioner Dr. SP Singh, has also been appointed as Nodal Officers. Mr. Rajesh Tulara from the Town Planning Department will serve as Nodal Officer for ACTP, while Chief Engineer of the Urban Development Department, Mr. Ashok Chaudhary, and Senior Town Planner, Mr. Nitin Nehra, will coordinate with PDCOR on presentation materials, display items, videos, brochures, and leaflets.

Mr. Galaria informed that CII has been designated as a partner agency by the state government for organizing the program. Mr. Nitin Gupta and Mr. Ashish Pathak have been appointed as Nodal Officers on behalf of CII.

Also present at the meeting were Autonomous Government Secretary Mr. Kumar Pal Gautam, Deputy Secretary of the Urban Development Department, the Director of Engineering at JDA, and officials from other related departments.
