BJP Secures Historic 3rd Term in Haryana, Saini Named CM

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Haryana Chief Minister-designate Nayab Singh Saini for his party’s decisive victory in the Assembly elections. This marks a significant milestone for the BJP, as they secure a third consecutive term in Haryana.

Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, the former Haryana Chief Minister, praised both PM Modi and the BJP’s performance, stating, “The people have sent a clear message that our work under PM Modi’s leadership is resonating with the public. For the first time, the BJP has achieved a third consecutive term in Haryana, which is a record-breaking achievement. No party has done as much as we have for farmers, wrestlers, and soldiers.”

Khattar emphasized that the public’s endorsement of the BJP’s governance and policies is evident in this victory. He added that the party’s high command has announced Nayab Singh Saini as the new Chief Minister, although the final decision will be made by the parliamentary board.

Reflecting on the 2014 election campaign, Khattar recalled the slogan, “Haryana is one, Haryanvi is one,” stating, “I consider all the people of Haryana as my family. Our Chief Minister has always worked for the welfare of the people.”

He credited the BJP’s success to the acceptance of the party’s policies and Modi’s leadership, which enabled them to secure another term in the state. “The people have embraced the BJP’s policies and Modi ji’s accomplishments, and this has allowed us to secure yet another term in Haryana,” he said.

Commenting on the opposition, Khattar remarked, “The Congress ran a negative campaign, spreading lies and misleading the public. However, the people saw through it and rejected the Congress.”

When asked about the Congress party’s failures in the elections, Khattar suggested that only the Congress could answer that question. He also dismissed the Congress’s accusation against the Election Commission regarding slow counting, stating, “Congress has a habit of blaming external factors for their defeats.”

Khattar highlighted the BJP’s contributions, particularly in support of farmers and athletes, saying, “The BJP has done more for farmers than the Congress could ever imagine. The electorate’s refusal to be misled is a testament to our work. I extend my gratitude to the people of Haryana and to the BJP workers for this spectacular victory.”

According to the latest data from the Election Commission, the BJP is on track to win at least 50 seats, securing a comfortable majority in the 90-member Assembly. This historic victory marks a significant achievement for the BJP in Haryana.
