Government is Driving Comprehensive Development with an Employment-Centric Approach -CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is shaping a development strategy that emphasizes economic growth alongside creating an employment-oriented environment in Madhya Pradesh. Leveraging the state’s physical assets, efforts are underway to drive economic prosperity. Today, the Pratibha Swaraj unit was inaugurated in Ujjain, representing an investment of Rs 350 crore and expected to generate employment for over 5,000 individuals. Additionally, the industrial units of Best Enterprises and Pratibha Swaraj in Ujjain are projected to create around 10,000 job opportunities. Across the region, industrial developments are set to provide direct employment to 50,000 people. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared these initiatives while addressing the Dussehra Milan Utsav and the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for 16 road projects worth Rs 658 crore at the Kartik Mela Ground in Ujjain.

The programme was attended by Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Ujjain’s In-charge Minister Shri Gautam Tetwal, Member of Parliament Shri Anil Firojia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Bal Yogi, Shri Umeshnath Ji Maharaj, former Union Minister Dr. Satyanarayan Jatiya, MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda, Shri Satish Malviya, Shri Tej Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Shri Jitendra Pandya, Mayor Shri Mukesh Tatwal, Municipal Corporation Chairperson Smt. Kalavati Yadav, Shri Bahadur Singh Bormundla, Shri Vivek Joshi, along with other public representatives and a large gathering of citizens.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that all Vaishnav and Shaiva saints from various Sanyasi traditions of Sanatan Dharma gather at the Simhastha every 12 years to set the future direction, conduct and principles of Sanatan Dharma. This grand Simhastha fair will be dedicated to the establishment of humanity, positioning India as a guiding force for the world. Extensive preparations are underway for this event. He emphasized that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is committed to making Madhya Pradesh the leading state in the country in terms of development. To achieve this, infrastructure development projects are progressing rapidly. Additionally, the state aims to become a global leader in the mining sector.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is making rapid strides across all sectors. As part of efforts to attract investors and boost investment, a delegation will travel to Hyderabad on October 16 to engage with potential investors. Continuing the series of Regional Industry Conclaves that began with the Ujjain division, the next conclave will be held in Rewa on October 23, followed by similar events in Shahdol and Narmadapuram divisions. Furthermore, a Global Investors Summit is planned for February next year, where investors from around the world will be invited to explore opportunities in the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that, under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership, India is emerging not only as a strong and capable nation but also settin new standards in comprehensive development. Reflecting our Sanatan tradition, where deities and sages guided the world through both knowledge and strength, India upholds peace but is fully prepared to defend itself when necessary. By strengthening the Army, Air Force, and Navy, Prime Minister Shri Modi is taking a decisive stand on the global front, showcasing India’s balanced commitment to peace and power.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that Simhastha-2028 will elevate Ujjain as a prominent center for religious tourism on the global stage. In preparation for the event, a helipad will be constructed at Sadaval to improve access to the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. Additionally, a new four-lane road from Somvariya to the Simhastha bypass is planned, with the tender process already underway. Approval has also been granted for a four-lane expansion from KD Gate to beyond Bima Hospital, and work on the Ujjain-Indore six-lane road has commenced. Today, the foundation stone was also laid for the road from Tapobhoomi to Hamukhedi. The Chief Minister emphasized that all main access roads to Ujjain will be developed as four-lane highways, ensuring that the district’s rural areas are well-connected to major roadways.Madhya Pradesh Advancing on the Path to Development: Public Works Minister Shri Singh

Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh stated that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Public Works Department is progressing swiftly with the mission “Lok Nirman se Lok Kalyan” (Public Infrastructure for Public Welfare). Through ongoing development projects, Ujjain is set to achieve new social and economic milestones, alongside improved roads. The ‘Mohan Model’ of development is paving the way for public welfare and state progress. Significant transformations are occurring in the state’s development and public welfare sectors. Shri Singh added that Ujjain will be established as both an international tourist destination and a religious city. He also highlighted the Lokpath App, managed by the Public Works Department, through which complaints about damaged roads are now resolved within seven days by the responsible departmental officer. He shared his satisfaction that over 95% of the complaints have been addressed within three to four months.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan for development and construction works worth over Rs 658 crore in Ujjain, aimed at public welfare through public works, during a programme held at Kartik Mela Ground on Sunday. These projects include the construction of the Harifatak-Lalpul-Mullapura four-lane road from Shankaracharya Square to Chandukhedi at a cost of Rs 225.96 crore, a four-lane road with two 2-lane ROBs and a 2-lane bridge over the Shipra River, and the Ujjain-Badnagar bypass two-lane road (remaining part of NH 148) costing Rs 67.69 crore. Other projects include the construction of Badavada Kalsi Nagda to Dotru road at Rs 22.61 crore, the Nagda-Gidhgarh-Vidkheda-Mokdi road at Rs 31.88 crore, and the Tapobhoomi to Hamukhedi road at Rs 35.65 crore.

Additional works include the Ralamandal-Kankaria-Chirakhan-Lekoda-Jhirolia-Baroda-Hamirkhedi-Umaria road at Rs 32.6 crore, the Lalpur to Chintaman Ganesh Temple road at Rs 30.45 crore, and the Badapul Ranjit Hanuman-Mojamkhedi road at Rs 38.57 crore. The Wakankar Bridge to Dawood Khedi road is being constructed at a cost of Rs 64.99 crore, while the Karohan-Naikhedi-Panchkroshi Marg is set at Rs 78.36 crore. Other projects include the Khachrod-Badnagar Bypass, Sedari to Barwada, Muranabad to Bedavanya, strengthening of the remaining part of the Ratlam-Khachrod road (Rs 2.55 crore), Sadawal helipad construction (Rs 13.46 crore), Jahangirpur to Chamundamata Marg (Rs 2.66 crore), and roads from Rudahera to Gunai, Mahidpur to Kachariya, and Mahidpur to Nageshwar Tirtha (Rs 2.91 crore).

Further works include the Sutarkheda Approach Road, Meen Road to Sutarkheda, Rudahera Approach Road (Rs 3.64 crore), and the Maksi-Tarana-Rupakhedi and Kanipura-Tarana Marg (Rs 3.11 crore). The Bhoomi Pujan also included the construction of the road from Master Maid School Tarana to Limbadit Main Road.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Dussehra Milan Utsav by lighting the ceremonial lamp and, along with the guests, performed the traditional worship of young girls. He warmly welcomed those in attendance by showering them with flowers.
