Children Witness the Vidhan Sabha — Feel Proud of Democracy: Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha Speaker

Jaipur : On the initiative of Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani, students from various districts across the state are participating in an educational tour to Jaipur. As part of the tour, they are visiting the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha and the Museum of Political Narratives to enhance their understanding of democracy and governance. On Monday, students and teachers from classes 6 to 12 of the Khokhar Memorial Institute of Education in Kuchaman City, Deedwana-Kuchaman district, visited the Vidhan Sabha as part of the ‘Vidhan Sabha Jan Darshan’ program and had an interaction with Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani.

Shri Devnani welcomed the students, inquired about their school, academic activities, and sports involvement, and encouraged them to excel in their studies and make the nation proud. He emphasized the importance of putting the nation first and instilling a sense of pride in India’s democratic values.

The ‘Vidhan Sabha Jan Darshan’ initiative was launched on May 18 this year, allowing the public to visit the Political Narrative Museum. Visitors can enter Vidhan Sabha through Gate No. 7 by submitting a photocopy of their Aadhaar card between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Shri Devnani further stated that the program promotes public engagement with the Vidhan Sabha, offering a unique opportunity to explore the Rajasthani-style architecture of the building. This initiative is designed to make it easier for citizens, researchers, tourists, and students to learn about the state’s political history. So far, 7,416 people have visited the Vidhan Sabha Political Narrative Museum under this program.
