Chief Minister Presents Development Projects Worth ₹640 Crore to Viramgam, ahead of Diwali
Gandhinagar : Ahead of Diwali, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel presented development projects worth ₹640 crore for the people of Viramgam. The CM stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has significantly raised the country’s global standing through development-oriented politics. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, the state government is consistently striving to tackle the issues and challenges faced by the people. Speaking about the development journey, the Chief Minister highlighted that Gujarat is consistently undertaking various developmental projects. Throughout the state, the government is dedicated to improving the well-being of the people through the inauguration and ceremonial foundation-stone laying ceremonies of various development works.
Recognising the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel pointed out that the Prime Minister has always taken a long-term approach. In 2003, during his time as Chief Minister, he launched the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to promote industrial growth and job creation in the state. Today, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is acclaimed worldwide, and the expansion of businesses and industries in the Ahmedabad district is truly impressive. The semiconductor industry is rapidly advancing in Sanand and Dholera. While every Prime Minister has made efforts to bring this sector to India, only Shri Narendra Modi has succeeded in this regard. Similarly, significant initiatives are underway for the development of the green energy sector in the country. In discussing various development projects and initiatives started under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister stated that the nation is progressing towards becoming Atmanirbhar in every sector, with Gujarat playing a significant role in this transformation. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, a massive campaign for natural farming is underway in the country. Today, farmers are moving away from chemical fertilizers to improve both their land and their health. The state government is also working to ensure that farmers receive the necessary electricity during the day. The Chief Minister stated that as India and Gujarat gain recognition on the global stage, PM Shri Narendra Modi has initiated the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to ensure the country remains at the forefront of cleanliness. He urged everyone present to embrace cleanliness and include it in their daily lives and culture.
Referring to the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, the Chief Minister mentioned that the Prime Minister launched this initiative to enhance the country’s green cover in response to global warming. Gujarat has also taken the lead in this campaign, achieving a 2% increase in green cover within just one year. Additionally, under the Prime Minister’s guidance, the Central Government has initiated the “Catch the Rain” campaign, aimed at conserving water by saving every drop of rain. Discussing the Prime Minister’s vision for Viksit Bharat, the Chief Minister affirmed that Gujarat will play a pivotal role in realising Viksit Bharat by 2047. He conveyed the faith that through collective efforts, we will contribute to building a Viksit Bharat.
On this occasion, Minister of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Shri Raghavji Patel remarked that on 7th October 2001, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took the oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat. Since then, he has worked tirelessly for the state, guided by the slogan ‘Sauno Sath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas Ane Sauno Prayas’ initiating uninterrupted development. Through his relentless efforts, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established Gujarat as a role model for the nation. He further stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is committed to achieving Viksit Bharat by the year 2047. The Agriculture Minister urged everyone to participate in the development of both the state and the country to improve the economic prosperity of Gujarat.
On this occasion, MP Shri Chandubhai Shihora noted that Gujarat has been progressing since former Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. CM Shri Bhupendra Patel has continued this trajectory, achieving development across various sectors in line with the Prime Minister’s vision. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for presenting the people of Viramgam with development projects valued at ₹640 crore. Viramgam MLA Shri Hardik Patel delivered the welcome speech during the program. Present at the event were District Panchayat President Smt. Kanchanba Vaghela, MLAs Shri Babubhai Patel and Shri Kalubhai Dabhi, Ahmedabad Collector Smt. Pravina D. K., District Development Officer Shri Videh Khare, prominent leader Shri Harshadgiri Goswami, along with other officials and a large number of citizens.
