Appointment of Vijay Babu Vasant and Aman Preet as Central Expenditure Observers for Constituencies in Mumbai City District

Mumbai : For the Assembly General Election 2024, Vijay Babu Vasant has been appointed as the Central Expenditure Observer for five assembly constituencies in Mumbai City District: 178 – Dharavi, 179 – Sion Koliwada, 180 – Wadala, 181 – Mahim, and 182 – Worli. Meanwhile, Aman Preet has been appointed as the Central Expenditure Observer for another five constituencies: 183 – Shivadi, 184 – Byculla, 185 – Malabar Hill, 186 – Mumbadevi, and 187 – Colaba, by the Election Commission of India.

Visit of Election Expenditure Observers Vijay Babu Vasant and Aman Preet to the District Media Cell

The appointed Election Expenditure Observers, Vijay Babu Vasant and Aman Preet, visited the District Media Control Room to review operations for the Assembly General Election 2024.

Present at the meeting were Sanjay Yadav, the District Collector and Additional District Election Officer, along with Additional Collector and Election Coordination Officer Farog Mukadam and Sub-District Election Officer Shyamsunder Survase.

District Collector Mr. Yadav provided information about the operations in the media cell and the C-Vigil cell. He mentioned that the media cell closely monitors electronic, printed, and social media. He also stated that prompt action is being taken on complaints received through the C-Vigil app.

During this meeting, Kashibai Thorat, the Coordination Officer of the media cell, provided detailed information about the media cell’s operations.
