Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai reviewed the preparations for Rajyotsav 2024 at his residence office today. Rajyotsav is being organized from 4th to 6th November at Rajyotsav Sthal in Naya Raipur.

Chief Minister’s appeal: On the occasion of Rajyotsav, the people of the state should celebrate Rajyotsav along with Deepotsav by lighting lamps in their homes

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has appealed to the people of the state to celebrate Rajyotsav with Deepotsav by lighting lamps in their respective homes on November 1 on the occasion of Rajyotsav. On the occasion of Rajyotsav, 10 thousand lamps will be lit in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar. The Chief Minister has appealed to the citizens of all cities and villages to light lamps in their respective homes on the evening of November 1.

Bus facility will be available for the general public to reach the Rajyotsav venue

Transport facility will be provided to the general public at concessional rates to reach the Rajyotsav venue in Naya Raipur. During Rajyotsav, cultural programs will be organized every evening at the venue.

Bollywood singers Shaan, Neeti Mohan, Indian Idol winners Pawandeep and Arunidita will be the center of attraction in the cultural evening

In the cultural evening, a program of Bollywood singer Mr. Shantanu Mukherjee (Shaan) has been organized on November 4.
Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan will perform on November 5.
On the evening of November 6, the program of Indian Idol winner Pawandeep and Arunidita will be the center of attraction.

State investiture ceremony on 6 November

On the last day of Rajyotsav, on November 6, State Decoration Ceremony will be organized in which individuals and institutions doing outstanding work in various fields will be honored with State Decoration.

Development Exhibition will showcase major schemes

Various departments will organize exhibitions focusing on major departmental schemes at the Rajyotsav venue. Hangars will also be built for private institutions and PSU institutions. An exhibition will also be organized by the Agriculture and Water Resources Department. New schemes of the departments will be prominently displayed in the exhibition.

Shilpgram, Food Court, Fan Park will be the center of attraction

Shilpgram and food court will also be built at the Rajyotsav venue. Tribal food will also be available here. A fun park will also be built for children where there will be various swings.

Agriculture and Policy Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri Dhirendra Tiwari, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Secretaries to the Chief Minister Shri P. Dayanand and Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of Culture Department Shri Anbalagan P., Director Shri Vivek Acharya and senior officers were also present in the meeting.
