Minister Flags Off ‘Unity Run,’ Stresses Duty to Uphold National Unity
Jaipur : The ‘Unity Run,’ organized by the Jodhpur district administration under the Fit India Freedom Run 5.0 campaign themed ‘Cleanliness and Health,’ was flagged off by Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Justice Minister Shri Jogaram Patel from the Umaid Stadium. The run covered the route from Umaid Stadium to Nai Sadak Square, Mohanpura Bridge, Police Line Ratanada Road, KN College Square, Raikabagh Bridge, Mahavir Garden, and back to Umaid Stadium.
Shri Patel emphasized that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played a crucial role in the nation’s integration, and his birth anniversary is celebrated as National Unity Day. He highlighted that it is our highest duty to preserve the nation’s unity and integrity.
The minister added that by taking a pledge for a clean and fit India, we will build a clean and healthy society. He noted that the Unity Run would help raise public awareness about national unity, a healthy lifestyle, and cleanliness.
He also mentioned that the state government is implementing various schemes and programs to ensure the health and well-being of the people and is committed to the upliftment of the last person in society.
