Rs 194 crore approved for the development of three major roads
On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, initiatives are being taken continuously for road construction to facilitate smooth transportation in Jashpur district. On the initiative of CM Sai, Rs 194.84 crore has been approved for the development of three major roads of the district, this step has been taken with the aim of increasing smooth transportation in the district. It is worth mentioning that the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved Rs 892 crore 36 lakh for the development of eight roads in Chhattisgarh. From this amount, development and upgradation work of about 324 kilometers of roads will be done in six districts of the state. This includes strengthening work of 13.50 km long Bagbahar Drikotba road section in Jashpur district at the cost of 40.02 crore, 41 km long Ludeg Dritpakra Drilwakera road section at the cost of 118.95 crore, and 28 km long Jashpur Aasta Drikusmi road section at the cost of 35.87 crore rupees. Construction and strengthening of these roads will not only facilitate traffic but will also accelerate the development of the region.
