Ekatma Path illuminated with 11 thousand lamps on Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day

On the occasion of 24th anniversary of Chhattisgarh state and Deepawali, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai participated in the lighting of 11,000 lamps program organized on Ekatma Path in Naya Raipur. He lit the lamps with rituals amidst chanting of mantras and wished for the prosperity of the state. This event is a symbol of the cultural heritage and unity of the state, which showcased the culture of Chhattisgarh. The light of the lamps infused new energy and enthusiasm, which will increase the pride of the state. 

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Saw, MLAs Mr. Purandar Mishra, Mr. Motilal Sahu, Guru Mr. Khuswant Saheb, Mr. Indra Kumar Sahu, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand and Mr. Basav Raju S. along with many public representatives, senior officers, dignitaries were present.

On this occasion, 11 thousand lamps were lit at Ekatmapath. In the program of Naya Raipur on Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, along with the lighting of lamps, spectacular fireworks and colorful lights thrilled everyone. On this occasion, the tunes of melodious music made the atmosphere even more beautiful. Attractive rangoli was decorated at the venue, and people expressed their happiness by taking selfies at the selfie point with the symbols of the foundation day.

On this occasion, in a programme organised near the newly built CBD railway station in Nava Raipur and on Ekatma Path, sweets were distributed to labourers and sanitation workers on the occasion of Deepawali and best wishes were given. 

The state of Chhattisgarh was created on 1 November 2000 by separating it from Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this state reorganization is an important milestone in the political and administrative history of India.

The main objective behind the establishment of Chhattisgarh was to accelerate the pace of development in this region, recognize its distinct cultural and linguistic identity and provide better administrative facilities to the people. 

Today, the state is celebrating its 24th foundation anniversary and is playing a vital role in the country’s development journey with its rich culture and diversity. This day is an occasion of pride and celebration for the people of the state.
