2,452 Complaints of Code of Conduct Breaches Resolved; ₹253 Crore in Assets Seized
Assembly General Election – 2024
Mumbai : During the Assembly General Election 2024, from October 15 to November 4, 2024, a total of 2,469 complaints were received on the C-Vigil app across the state. The Election Commission, through the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, informed that 2,452 of these complaints have been resolved.
The C-Vigil app, which enables citizens to report violations of the code of conduct, is available for download from any app store. After a complaint is filed, appropriate action is taken following an investigation by the relevant team.
Assets Worth ₹253 Crore Seized
Assets valued at ₹253 crore have been seized in connection with cases involving illegal money, liquor, drugs, and precious metals, as part of actions taken by various enforcement agencies of both the state and central governments. Effective implementation of the Code of Conduct is ongoing in the state.
