Quick Action Ordered on Social Schemes in Video Conference Review”

Jaipur : Under the chairmanship of Director of Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Bachnesh Kumar Agarwal, a review meeting on the progress of various departmental schemes was held via video conference on Wednesday at the conference hall of the Directorate located at Ambedkar Bhawan, with scheme in-charges and district collectors in attendance.

In the meeting, the Director expressed dissatisfaction with the officers’ working procedures. He stated that all central and state government schemes should benefit the truly needy individuals. He instructed all district collectors to effectively address the pending applications and objections related to the scholarship scheme. He directed that district collectors who fail to resolve scholarship cases pending for 75% or less should be issued a notice. He also mentioned that more educational institutions should be registered on the scholarship portal.

Mr. Agarwal instructed all district collectors to send the pending utilization certificates and ensure the prompt resolution of pending cases related to atrocities.

He directed the timely verification of the remaining cases under the Social Security Pension and Palanhar Scheme, ensuring that annual physical verification is conducted. He added that the process of stopping the pension or removing the name of pensioners should only be done after approval from the Gram Sabha.

In addition, Mr. Agarwal reviewed other departmental schemes such as the Drug-Free India Campaign, Prime Minister Adarsh Gram Yojana, registration on the Karmayogi Portal, Sampark Portal, and the disposal of e-filing, and provided necessary directions to the officers.

Departmental officials were present at the meeting, with all district collectors joining via video conference.
