Governor Mr. Bagde worshiped and performed the aarti of Gau-Mata on Gopashtami festival.

Jaipur : Governor Mr. Haribhau Bagde stated that Gopashtami is a festival connected to the worship and service of Gau Mata (Mother Cow) and highlights the cow’s importance in Indian culture. He called for creating an effective environment for protecting cows and promoting cow products. He mentioned that cow urine and Panchgavya are found useful in treating incurable human diseases.

Mr. Bagde expressed these thoughts during the Gopashtami festival held at Shri Pinjarapole Gaushala, where Education Minister Mr. Madan Dilawar was also present.

The Governor noted that the cow not only nourishes our lives but also serves as a fundamental pillar of the economy. He narrated the story associated with Gopashtami and encouraged embracing the environmental protection lessons from Lord Krishna and making nature worship a daily routine.

Discussing the significance of cow products, the Governor remarked that cow dung enriches natural farming, and effective marketing of cow-based products can strengthen the country’s economy. He emphasized the importance of Indian indigenous cows and their products.

On Gopashtami, the Governor urged people to take a pledge for the protection of Gau-Mata and create a supportive environment for cow-based products. Earlier, he worshiped, performed aarti, and circumambulated a cow and calf at the Gaushala. Later, he visited the Vedic Herbal Medicine Center at the Gaushala, viewing cow dung production and organic agricultural products.

On this occasion, Dr. Atul Gupta from the All India Gaushala Support Council elaborated on the protection of Gaushalas (cow shelters) and cow wealth.
