‘Make Rajasthan shine and proud’: Chief Secretary Rajasthan.

Jaipur : Government of Rajasthan has stepped up the preparations and arrangements for the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, which is just a month away. As part of this, Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant, along with Director General of Police Shri U. R Sahoo, Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department) Shri Anand Kumar, Director General of Police (Intelligence) Shri Sanjay Agarwal, and Principal Secretary (Industries and Commerce) Shri Ajitabh Sharma, reviewed the event site and security preparedness at JECC Convention Centre, Sitapura, which is the venue for the upcoming event on Saturday.

“We are just a month away from the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit, 2024, and now is the time to make a final push for successful organization of the event, which is the top priority of the state government. We must make Rajasthan shine and proud,” Shri Pant said, while reiterating that all departments and partners must prioritize their work to ensure success of the upcoming investment summit.

The Chief Secretary was reviewing the preparedness like venue layout, and other security management required at the JECC, including traffic and parking management as well as protocol and escort arrangements. Arrangement required for the Chief Guest at the inaugural day of the summit was also discussed. 

 Noting that several distinguished national and international delegates and potential investors will be attending the event, Shri Pant emphasized the importance of presenting Jaipur in its finest form for the summit. He also gave detailed directions and asked the concerned departments to ensure that all their activities are aligned, and the highest standards are maintained for this three-day prestigious event.

During the meeting, functional committee on traffic and security provided updates on their respective work, including the preparedness at the JECC,  Sitapura and shared the steps taken and the progress achieved in recent months for successful organization of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024. 

The meeting was also attended by Commissioner of Police, Jaipur, Commissioner (Industries and Commerce), Collector and District Magistrate, Jaipur, Managing Director, RIICO and other senior officials of the state government. Members of partner organisations, which are assisting Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP) – the nodal department for RRGIS’24, were also present. This includes, members of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), which is summit industry partner of the event. 

About the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024: 

The Government of Rajasthan, led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, will be hosting the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 on 9th, 10th, and 11th December 2024 in the capital, Jaipur. The state government has signed MoUs for investments worth over INR 18 lakh crore with different firms so far through various domestic and international roadshows held in Mumbai, Delhi, South Korea, Japan, UAE, Qatar, Singapore, Germany, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia as well as through different sectoral PreSummits and District-level summits. 

The 3-day mega summit, which aims to attract and facilitate global investment, innovation, and partnerships in the state, is organized with the support of the Industry and Commerce Department, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), and RIICO, with BIP serving as the nodal department for this summit. During the summit, thematic sessions will be organised on different focus sectors, including Agriculture, Renewable, Education and Skilling, Infrastructure, Tourism, Startups, Mining and Country Sessions will also be held.
