Inauguration of Campaign through Mobile Van and Bike Rally for Voter Awareness
Nandurbar : As part of the Assembly General Elections 2024, the District Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Mittali Sethi launched a digital van and bike rally sent by the Central Bureau of Communications, Pune, and the Election Commission of India for voter awareness (SVEEP) in Nandurbar city.
The event was attended by District Council Chief Executive Officer Sawan Kumar, Nandurbar Assembly Election Officer Anjali Sharma, Deputy District Election Officer Pramod Bhamre, Secondary Deputy Education Officer Dr. Yunus Pathan, Bhavesh Sonawane, Group Education Officer Nilesh Patil, Education Extension Officer Jayant Chaure, Sharad Patil, Sachin Gosavi, all Center Heads of Nandurbar Taluka, Principals and Headmasters of secondary and higher secondary schools of Nandurbar Taluka, as well as all Headmasters and teachers of the primary schools of the District Council in Nandurbar Taluka.
The rally began at the District Collector’s office in Nandurbar and proceeded along the route of Navapur Chowfully – Dhule Chowfully – Shroff High School – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Theater – Andhare Chowk – Municipality – Nehru Statue – Gandhi Statue – Flyover – Sidhi Colony, ending in the grounds of S.A. Mission English Medium School.
The rally was flagged off by District Election Officer and District Collector Dr. Mittali Sethi and Nodal Officer and Chief Executive Officer Sawan Kumar with the SVEEP and green flags. Additionally, a digital van sent by the Central Bureau of Communications, Pune, and the Election Commission of India for voter awareness was also flagged off. This van will conduct awareness activities across all four assembly constituencies in Nandurbar District.
At the rally’s conclusion, dignitaries released balloons with election slogans to spread the message of voter awareness. During the event, students performed a street play, an election song, and danced to election-themed music as part of a flash mob. The event concluded with an oath of voting administered to the attendees.
