Tribal dance troupes from Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Rajasthan and Sikkim reached Raipur to perform on Tribal Pride Day
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, a grand state level program will be organized on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day, the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, on 14th and 15th November at Science College Ground in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. In the two-day program, tribal dance troupes from 17 states including Chhattisgarh will give captivating cultural performances.
Dance troupes are reaching Chhattisgarh to present their dances on Tribal Pride Day. Today, tribal dance troupes from Arunachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Rajasthan and Sikkim have reached Raipur.
The dance troupe from Arunachal Pradesh will present Adiliok dance drama, the dance troupe from Uttarakhand will present Jhinjhi, Holi, Hanna and Diya dance, the dance troupe from Telangana will present Mathuri tribal dance, the dance troupe from Rajasthan will present Valar Garasia Gair dance and the dance troupe from Sikkim will present Subba folk dance drama.
It is noteworthy that on 14th and 15th November, at 3:00 pm, at Science College ground, along with the presentation of cultural programs by inter-state folk dance troupes, a seminar on topics related to tribal pride and exhibition of paintings on tribal lifestyle will also be organized.
