Delighted to Receive Investment Proposals Worth Rs. 60,000 Crores in UK : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, on the conclusion of his UK tour, stated that the visit to England was significant in many ways. Substantial investments were secured across diverse sectors. Reflecting on the potential opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, he expressed satisfaction that proposals amounting to Rs. 60,000 crores have been received. These include sectors like healthcare, industry, mining, service sector, and agriculture, where substantial interest was shown.

During his visit to Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), the Chief Minister emphasized research and academic studies are truly meaningful when they benefit society. He noted that while many nations are advancing in this direction, Madhya Pradesh, under new education policy, is also making strides. “Empowering students to tackle future challenges is a fundamental requirement of today’s education system,” he remarked.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Warwick University in London and interacted with subject experts. He noted that the campus, established by Bhattacharyya ji, houses over 30,000 students. The essence of research here lies in integrating innovation, benefiting both industries and society. “Through such efforts, we can progress while serving humanity,” he added.

CM Dr. Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has immense potential in the automotive sector. He announced plans to explore opportunities for Madhya Pradesh’s youth to gain expertise at WMG, while also inviting their experts to train professionals in the state. Efforts will be made to affiliate universities and technical institutions in Madhya Pradesh with WMG to foster a collaborative exchange of ideas and practices.

CM Dr. Yadav also shared insights from his interaction with students from India, including Madhya Pradesh, studying in the UK. He mentioned that the global diversity at Warwick University is a model worth replicating in Madhya Pradesh. “We aim to establish MoUs between universities here and those in Madhya Pradesh to implement similar models and set up research centers within industrial campuses for the greater benefit of all,” he said.

Promoting Collaborative Research Between Universities and Industries

CM Dr. Yadav underscored the importance of collaborative research between universities and industrial groups, stating that universities should partner with suitable organizations to establish self-sufficient research centers on their campuses. He also discussed the implementation of global best practices in skill development and education in Madhya Pradesh, fostering exchange programs for experts and students.

“Sharing Good Practices Globally Benefits All”

Reflecting on the visit, the Chief Minister said, “I have come here as a flagbearer of Sanatan culture. Universities and colleges are akin to the goddess Saraswati, and their benefits must reach humanity at large. While technology holds significance in this mechanized age, it must be guided by principles of righteousness. Sharing goodness globally ensures collective progress and welfare.”

Warwick Manufacturing Group: A Global Model of Innovation in Engineering

Dr. Yadav described WMG as a stellar global model for promoting innovation in science and engineering through public-private partnerships. He lauded the group for expanding academic activities and enabling practical implementation of the state’s vision to empower youth leadership and innovation. Upon his arrival at WMG, the Dean greeted the Chief Minister with a bouquet, and the group presented him with a memento. In return, Dr. Yadav honored Prof. Robin Clark with a Chanderi stole as a token of respect.

Swaminarayan and ISKCON to Establish New Centers in Madhya Pradesh

During his visit, Dr. Yadav also had the privilege of visiting the Swaminarayan Temple in London and meeting members of the Swaminarayan and ISKCON communities. He announced that these organizations would establish new centers in Madhya Pradesh. With two major Jyotirlingas already in the state, the addition of these centers will enhance temple culture and spiritual values. He noted that such initiatives would provide opportunities for residents of Madhya Pradesh to connect with these traditions.

Before departing for Germany, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared these insights during his interaction with the media, marking the conclusion of his UK tour.
