The oath-taking ceremony was held at the historic Azad Maidan in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mumbai : Devendra Sarita Gangadharrao Fadnavis was sworn in as the 31st Chief Minister of Maharashtra by Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan.
During the ceremony, held at the historic Azad Maidan in the august presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan also administered the oath of office and secrecy to Eknath Gangubai Sambhaji Shinde and Ajit Ashatai Anantrao Pawar as Deputy Chief Ministers. The oath-taking event was conducted by the state’s Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent leaders on stage, including Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, Union External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, Union IT and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Heavy Industries Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Union Education Minister Dharmendra

Additionally, several Union Ministers of State, including Ramdas Athawale, Muralidhar Mohol, Prataprao Jadhav, Raksha Khadse, and various Deputy Chief Ministers such as Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, Pawan Kalyan, Rajendra Shukla, Arun Savo, Vijay Sharma, Premchand Bairwa, Vijay Kumar Sinha, Samrat Choudhary, Kanak Bardhan Singh Deo, Pravati Parida, Chowna Mein, Prestone Tynsong, Yanthungo Patton, T.R.
