20 Bn BSF Organizes Weapon Exhibition for NCC Cadets in Lunglei
Lunglei : The 20th Battalion Border Security Force (BSF), Zotlang, Lunglei, organized an engaging and impactful Weapon Exhibition at its Battalion Headquarters, Zotlang, Lunglei, on 13th December 2024. The event was held for the NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets of the 2nd Mizo Battalion NCC.
The primary objective of the exhibition was to familiarize the cadets with various modern weaponry and specialized equipment used by the Forces to ensure national security. The event also aimed to inspire the younger generation to consider a career in the armed forces. Approximately 150 NCC cadets participated in the exhibition, demonstrating keen interest in understanding the displayed weapons and the critical role of the BSF in maintaining peace and tranquility along the borders.
Shri Neeraj Sharma, Commandant of the 20th Battalion BSF, and Col. Aman Chowdhary, Commanding Officer of the 2nd Mizo Battalion NCC, emphasized the importance of such events in fostering discipline and patriotism among youth. They highlighted the value of these interactions in inspiring cadets to pursue careers in defense and security services.
